Adorable Pink Keyboard and Mouse Review (It Has Typewriter Keys)

Photo Source: Author Photo Source: Amazon While FD's pink wireless keyboard and mouse are adorable and definitely aesthetic, the set has some serious issues. Here's my review of Amazon's pink MoMoOne Wireless Keyboard and Mouse combo. Note: this pink keyboard and mouse set is currently sold out, but the blue and white version is available. I ended up not loving this product, and bought this replacement pink keyboard instead. If you are looking for a keyboard and mouse combo that is stylish and functional, the FD Wireless Keyboard Mouse Combos Set is the perfect option. This set is designed for both PC and Mac users. The keyboard has a slim design that makes it easy to take with you on the go, and the mouse has an ergonomic design that provides extra comfort. Plus, this keyboard and mouse combo set is very affordable at $35. Aesthetics The aesthetic light pink color on both the keyboard and mouse is adorable. I love it. Honestly, if the keyboard and mouse worked as well

20+ Gift Ideas for Your ADHD Girlfriend in 2022

20+ Gift ideas to show your girlfriend with ADHD that you care
20+ Gift ideas to show your girlfriend with ADHD that you care

People are hard to shop for. Women with ADHD or ASD doubly so. If you’ve got a lady in your life who’s not quite like all the others, try these gift options.

Most of the gift ideas below have options linked at multiple price points. Prices listed are the prices at the time of writing, and may change over time.

Here are 20+ gift options for your girlfriend with ADHD.

Noise Cancelling Headphones

If your gift recipient struggles with sensory issues (do they tend to seem overwhelmed in crowded/loud environments?), a solid pair of noise canceling headphones can be a life saver.

A black pair of Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones WHCH710N

Keep in mind that if they struggle with sensory issues, they may have a very strong preference for in ear vs over ear headphones, so double check on that before purchasing.

Soft Lighting

Yeah, buying someone a lamp may seem worse than buying that gift basket of soap from Target, but hear me out. Harsh, overhead lighting can worsen sensory issues. Switching from harsh overhead lighting to soft, warm lighting, can help make the space feel more like home.

A Stylish Worry Ring/Fidget Jewelry

It’s 2021. There are plenty of fidget jewelry items available that are sophisticated and stylish. Remember that some people have allergic reactions to budget metals (especially nickel), so be very careful ordering rings that make constant contact with skin.

Ember Mug — Keep That Warm Drink Warm

More times in my life than I’d like to admit, I excitedly pour a cup of coffee, only to forget about it until it’s ice cold. This mug from Ember, maintains a constant temperature, so the cup will be ready whenever they remember that it exists. It is a more expensive gift option though, depending on the type, the price ranges from $99–$250.

Some models even include an automatic stirring device.

Multi Device Charging Station

For a lot of neurodivergent folks, items are most useful if we can see them and if they have a ‘home’ that they should be returned to.

A multi device charging station keeps all of your digital items in one place, where they can be seen.

There are two main options: a dock for multiple different types of devices (such as the one shown here), and docks that allow for a number of tablets and mobile devices to charge at the same time.

Copy/Paste Keyboard

Did you know the average person uses Copy/Paste about thirty times a day? This little unitasker makes that even easier. It gained popularity via TikTok, and user’s seem to love it.

It’s compatible with both Windows and Apple products, and only costs $19.99.

Is it useful? I have no idea, but it makes me smile.

Tile Tracker to Find Those Easily Lost Items

Tile trackers have been around for a few years now, but they are a lifesaver. They work similar to Apple’s ‘Find My Device’ functionality, and allow commonly lost items to be found. No more spending two hours looking for your keys.

Single Tile Trackers start at $24.99, but I’d suggest getting a four pack of different tracker types, like this one for $79.99, so that they can try the different options. Plus if someone has trouble with commonly loosing one item, they most likely have more things that they lose.

Super Soft Blankets

I have a motto that ‘One can never have enough soft blankets,’ and I stand by that.

A super soft blanket may not be the most personal gift, but it’s also a gift that generally goes over well.

Books/Audiobooks

You may be tempted to show your support by purchasing a book on neurodivergence as a gift. Probably don’t do that though. Remember that neurodivergence is just one part of a person’s personality, and being reduce o that for every gift is exhausting.

If they enjoy reading, ask them what they want.

If they enjoy books but struggle with reading, try audiobooks. An Audible credit is a great option for this.

Stylish Wall Hooks

Having items within eye sight can be incredibly helpful, especially for folks with ADHD. This makes stylish wall storage a constant struggle and a great gift option.

Weighted Blanket

Weighted blankets have been popular for a few years now, however, they tend to be not the most aesthetic option. Try an update weighted blanket, with this faux fur option from Cottonblue for $59.99.

While more expensive, there are beadless weighted blankets like this 15 pound cooling blanket from Zonli. Beadless options are great, since it generally means that the blanket is easier to clean, and the beads used in weighted blankets can get stuck to one side.

Photo Books + Custom Books

For the Social Media Maven

  • Chatbooks offers a service where they take an Instagram feed and create a custom photo book.
  • MotifPhotos is an custom photo book service that connects to Apple photos.
  • ArtifactUprising is a service that builds custom books specifically for all of your square shaped photos.

For the Family Historian

  • StoryWorth offers a unique custom book option. You sign up, and each week it sends a question to a family member or friend, nd they respond in an email. At the end of the year, you get a book with all of the stories that have been shared with you.
  • Book1One is an option for those who have already dived into genealogy. You can use their service to create a book with family trees, family stories, photos and more.

For the FanFic Fanatic

For those with a love for fan fiction, you can legally bind the story for personal use. This one can be a little tricker, and requires finding a book binder who has an opening in their commissions.

  • Search Etsy for ‘custom book binding’ to find current open listings.
  • Buy a DIY bookbinding kit, like this one for $42, and bind the favorite fanfic yourself.

Custom Keyboard Key Caps

Are these necessary in any way? Absolutely not. But, they are adorable, and I have so many of these bookmarked that I need to put them somewhere.

It’s important to note, that custom keycaps can only be installed on mechanical keyboards.

Custom keyboard keys can be found on sights like Etsy, do a quick search for ‘keyboard cap,’ and other sites for small businesses.

Counter Top Garden

Does this have to do with being neurodivergent? Probably not, but it’s super cool, and who wouldn’t love this?

Create a lush countertop garden for her regularly used herbs, or full vegetable plants. Many of these countertop garden solutions have watering features, lights, and spaces to plant multiple plants.

  • This six plant growing option has containers for water and plant food, as well as a built in LED light for $99.
  • This $35.99 option doesn’t automatcally water your plants, but it does include a light with a timer to make sure that your plant babies have appropriate amounts of light.

Lap Desk

Ever notice that your person tends to sit or work in weird positions? Yeah, no idea why we do that, but a solid lap desk can be a life saver, and save you from having to listen to us complain about our back.

Gift Cards

Entertainment Gift Cards

We live in a world based around subscriptions. Having one less subscription to worry about is always nice.

  • Netflix
  • Hulu
  • iTunes
  • Crunchy Roll
  • HBO
  • Spotify

Food Related Gift Cards/Subscriptions

Eating regular, healthy meals can be tough. Try a gift that makes it easier, like a gift card to your local food delivery service.

  • uberEats
  • PostMate
  • Instacart

Gift Cards to Help with Life’s Inconveniences

  • Taskrabbit to help with the task that they’re struggling with getting started.
  • Gift certificates for yearly necessary tasks, like air conditioner maintenance, or cleaning the gutters can be great as well. These tend to be tasks that we forget about until it’s bad enough that’s there’s a problem.
  • LastPass, because no we don’t remember that password.

Meal Subscription Boxes

Does she like to cook, but the planning and shopping seems to get in her way? Try a meal box subscription. This will alleviate some of the stress around planning and shopping, while still allowing them the control to pick their meals and cook them. This can help with executive dysfunction and social anxiety associated with grocery shopping.

Meal box options include:

  • If she’s worried about her macros, try this high protein snack box.
  • HelloFresh — Use this link to get $40 off your first order.
  • HungryHarvest — This service doesn’t provide full meal boxes, but it does ship fruits and vegetables straight to their door.
  • BlueApron — Blue Apron is a Martha Stewart company. It tends to be a more affordable option for meal boxes, however, in my experience that difference in price was very noticeable in the food options.

Cash

Yeah, this one can be considered to be a bit unpolite, but it works. Pair cash with a book that they like or a card to make sure they know this wasn’t a last minute thing that you forgot about.

Photo Printer

Little, portable photo printers that print on photo paper are amazing. I use to always complain about how I didn’t have any physical photos, they were all stuck on my phone. Photo printing services are always an option, but I don’t want to have to wait until I have 50 pictures that I want to print.

Two big concerns to consider when purchasing one as a gift: how large of photos does it print, and how expensive is it to use (ink + specialty paper).

  • The Kodak Step wireless printer is a great entry level printer, however, it requires very specific Kodak branded paper that is 2"x3". For $69, this isn’t awful, but it may not be what you’re looking.
  • The HP Sprocket Studio allows photos up to 4" x 6" to be printed. It’s more expensive at $130.

Special Interest Items

Is your person a super nerd about a specific interest? Do they love talking about the eating habits of 17th century peasants or can they rattle off details about BTS like they’re athletic stats? Lean into that.

It can be very difficult for neurodivergent people to feel like they’re interests are valued and acceptable. for many people, we learn how to hide our interests because it annoys our family or friends. So getting that super niche book that they’ve had their eyes on, instead of a candle/bath set, can feel like the world stops.

Note: If you’re shopping for someone who cycles through hobbies quickly, if you buy an item ahead of time, they may no longer be interested in that hobby by Christmas.

Gifts to Skip/Double Check if They’d Like It

These gifts aren’t necessarily a no, however you may want to double check with someone who knows them better if it would be a good fit.

  • Puzzle piece related items. The Autism Speaks puzzle piece logo is considered to be disrespectful or insulting to many.
  • Highly scented soaps, lotions, perfumes. Smells can be over powering.
  • Planners. We’ve probably already tried them. They probably won’t work.
  • Clothing. It’s already tough to buy women clothing as a gift due to styles and sizing, but some neurodivergent folks also have specific needs for clothing. This can look like needing tagless items, or, for me, my shirts can’t touch my collar bone or the base of my throat.
